Mechanical Engineering Shop

Hours

Shop hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The shop is closed for lunch from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. Students, faculty, and staff may use the shop during these hours as long as there are a minimum of two people in the shop at all times. One member of the shop staff must be present in the shop if any of the machine tools are to be operated. If no member of the shop staff is present in the shop, students, faculty, and staff may work at the benches with hand tools.
